Hi all.

Just bought a Dell laptop and am struggling to learn about it. I've
never used a laptop before so my first problem has been trying to get
used to the keyboard.

Firstly, what is the difference between the laptop and classic laptop
keyboard layouts in Jaws?

Secondly, I set the keyboard layout to laptop and then went into
keyboard options and changed the Jaws key from the default of caps lock
to insert. This caused the caps lock key to stop working for changing
case. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the actual key as it
works fine when Jaws is closed. If I change the keyboard layout to
classic laptop and leave the Jaws key to the default of insert,
everything seems to be fine. =0D

I've searched the Jaws help but can't find anything about classic
laptop. Am I missing something?

I'd be really grateful for some help on this subject.

Thanks.

Irene
