Hi Frank,

Many thanks for your reply.

I had wondered that. It makes a change for me to be able to read something
that a sighted person can't. It's usually the other way round, smile.

Keith

Hello
The faunt is thereHello
The faunt is there, but because the writing is black and the back ground is
black the human eye can;t see it, jaws reads it as a code on the web page.
Iam sure someone else can explain better than me. Frank but becauck and the
back ground is black with XP Home, and Outlook 2000

I subscribe to Friends Reunited, and had an e-mail from them a few days ago.

At the top of the message I read the sentence:

"You have unread messages waiting for you".

As I wasn't quite sure what I had to do on the site, I left things until my
son came this evening.

I brought the message up, and he said he couldn't see the top line of it
which told me I had unread messages.

I told him it was definitely there, and proved it by copying and pasting it
into a Notepad file.

On interrogating Jaws, in the e-mail message, Jaws said there was no font,
and the colour was black on black.

So, I am wondering why I could read the line with Jaws, but my son couldn't
see it.

Anyone any ideas, please? I wouldn't have thought it was a case of my still
using Outlook 2000.

With best wishes,

Keith
