Hi George,

The problems I had, (but don't have with Jaws 10), came on after downloading
the new update or patch to Jaws 11. It didn't just affect Word documents but
also my emails in WLM. The emails were there with the subject lines but no
readable contents. Similarly with newsgroups.

Interesting what you say about large tables, the one I mentioned had 3 columns
and 70 rows but that shouldn't have affected my emails.

Anyway, I'm still investigating possibilities when I think of them.

Regards

David

  Hi David,

What version of Word are you using? I'm not using JAWS, but I have been
having nasty problems only recently, with a massive Word table.

  George.

  Hi list,

I have just tried Jaws 10 on my system and it now appears to be working fine.
So, it is not unreasonable to suppose that Jaws 11 has been buggered up in
some way and will, no doubt, be corrected shortly.

If I can define the symptoms more precisely, I brought up a Word document
with a long table of information. It was telling me which row and column I was
on but all the data I had inputted was apparently not there or not being read.

There has been a loud silence on this list since yesterday, wondering if
others have had similar problems.

  Regards

  David
