Hi all,
I've recently started a new job and am using Jaws 2018 on both a Windows 10
laptop and desktop.
I have previously been able to read PDF's ok or if necessary have used the
convenient OCR ability in Jaws to access image pdf's. On both machines when I
open a PDF Jaws doesn't read any of the text even if I use the Jaws cursor and
it isn't given me the message I'm used to to ask if I'd like to run convenient
OCR. Similarly if I save the file and then go to the applications menu and
choose the option to "recognise with Jaws" nothing happens.
This is really frustrating and I could really do with being able to access
pdf's.
Any help / suggestions great fully appreciated.
