Hi Angel, well I used to have a Pal in a RNIB Volunteer, he retired 2 years ago to live in France, he knew nothing about Jaws but was good on the technical side. I am supposed to have a visit from Kab, Kent Association for the Blind once year but it is not easy to arrange and I would rather keep it for perhaps something bigger, however I do have a Pal who lives near Worcester and he may talk me through, he knows my system is very clever I prop up the phone and follow him step by step. Also young Jade can follow the restore instructions she may recall what she did, I may as the Laptop is a second computer not send more Emails out on it, but only receive, she will try to come on Monday. Your name is familiar Angel, in August 2005 my young visiting Goddaughter signed me up to the Jaws, she is now married and expecting a second baby I had never heard of the Jaws list. I believe restore points are saved for two months. You should have tried to correct the problems she caused rite after you discovered them. If you have put any programs on your computer after the time you wish to restore the computer they will be lost and they must be reinstalled. I don't know about e-mails however. You can always unrestore system restore if you don't like it's results. I am writing from America, but don't you oover there in England have volunteers who can come and help with such things? Angel and indeed you are your name is familiar, thing is it is several weeks ago she did this and I will have to pinpoint the exact day, being the Sent items list it is far more important than for example Jaws list, mind yu that is vital, but the sent items are my own messages and as mentioned to SStructural Engineers and the like Legal people, I have managed to contact Jade and she is at College but will try to come on Monday. Dorothy, You could always restore your computer back to the last restore point before your friend came over. You can go to the deleted items folder and press control shift V and move those messages to whatever folder you like. Go in to the view while in a message by pressing alt v, go in to sort by and arrow down to receive and sort by ascending or descending and check both receive and either sort by ascending or descending whichever you choose.
