two things, when in your address folder do alt enter on the address you are
sitting on, and this will take you into the properties of that address then
just tab. when in options outlook express, tab until you hear add sender to
my address book and make sure it is ticked. there is also another one which
says, add people i reply to into my address book make sure this is also
ticked.

  Hi again.
I've done ctrl shift B, which has taken me to the address book, but when I
type in a name, this is where progress stops. Perhaps someone can tell me,
when sending or receiving a message, does the address automatically enter
the address book, or do the addresses have to be entered manually?
  Thanks again, Angela.
