Well, earlier this afternoon I called Sight & Sound and spoke to Tris who
conducted a remote support session and did a reinstall of the latest
version, however the problem reappeared so we left it there, meanwhile I
retrieved the previous build of JFW 16 from my laptop, installed it to this
desktop and all is well again, so obviously the new build is broken in this
department, I'll carry on with the older build until I hear from S&S that
the issue has been resolved.
After fixing my problem I called S&S back and spoke to a different person
who informed me that Tris had already put in a report of the problem to
Freedom Scientific.

Hi Pete,
Carol has just tested the zed key and it did as you thought it would, so
it's in American English. I'm guessing my own is the same, as when I
pressed the same key just now it was as American as you can get.
