Hi,
Actually this document was around 1300 pages, and it was getting to the
juicy parts just before it bombed out! I should have tried it on this
machine at home, but as it was around 25MB will have to use a USB disk.
Note it was a reference manual, so I was just flicking through it so to
speak.

prinnnnnter
button and out shot endless pages of print, there was no way of stopping

Hi,
Well it is ok for me, usually the minor versions - i.e, 8.0 to 8.1 are
security fixes, and don't add much into the product.
Having said this, I had an issue at work today with 8.1, where I was
trying to read a manual for a tape library which we had purchased, and
it just crashed out Adobe after around page 200, which wasn't very
helpful.

Hi list decided to update Adobe from 8 to 8.1 yesterday. I am wondering
if
it always goes through the 3 stage business, First one lot comes in
percent as you would expect then a repeat lot in percent and then a
third, I
then moved to laptop which connects by Wireless. it did the same three
stage Palaver but naturally slower. Finally I fed in some PDF files I
have
on computer, cannot see any difference at all. a fair amount of choice
and
we are told our screen reader will be silent whilst Document
preparing..
I am wondering why a local Engineer who does not use any Assistive
Tech,
said he has not been happy with Adobe since version 5.
Is Adobe 8.1 working well for the rest of you?
