  Hi Harry,

<snip 2. I've got a very strange problem, and that is, when I unplug my
head set microphone, I got no audio at all, so, I had to do a hard shut down
  of my computer.
PL] Go to the jaws menu, then to utilities and then to sound cards. Select
the specific sound card you want jaws to use. Your headsset probably has a
built-in sound card. This sound card gets registered as the default sound
device on your computer. When you unplug it, Jaws defaults to something like
the microsoft wave mapper which does not give you any speech. The next time
you lose speech, hit windows +u to start narrator. That should allow you to
operate effectively. In addition, you can use the "computer off" command in
dragon to power down your computer.

  Pranav
