Very unlikely to work.

driver supports (Epson Perfection 1640, 1650, 1660, 2400 & 4870 USB) used
the same API and for them adding support for the appropriate deviceID's into
the software was what was required.
When Epson launched the 1670, it and all? subsequent models used a totally
new undocumented API:-(
n.b. The GT15000 A3 scanner for which we recently announced RISC OS TWAIN
support fortunatly uses the older API:-)
