The hard drive in my Iyonix is years into borrowed time :-( But what are my options for replacing it? - Old stock PATA drive, long out of its manufacturer's warranty; - PATA to SDHC adaptor, life of medium highly questionable; - PATA to SATA adaptor, SATA drive; if anyone can find one that works; - Boot off SDHC, thereafter use a USB drive; - any more? I use a 2.5" spinning rust USB drive on the BBxM, which is my second computer, the Iyonix still being my first. The BBxM has been very reliable, but I haven't used it nearly as much as the Iyonix in terms of quantity of data transferred. Suggestions and experiences welcome. I can't be the only person who would like to replace a drive before it fails.
