VPN PROBLEM

Hello everybody, I explain my problem (sorry for my engish !):
I've ISA SERVER installed as proxy and firewall to share the internet
connection in our lan.
I've to use a VPN client (Nortel Extranet Access Client) to connect to
another server, but it doesn't work. (this kind of VPN uses IPSEC)
I've tried to open port 500 without good results.
Now I would like to try to open all ports of the firewall to see if the
VPN works; how can I do ?
Can I stop firewall services and continuing to share the internet
connection (using only proxy services )?
