It's your deployment and the GK limitations that presents the problem.
The Gatekeeper was designed to operate on the edge and speak directly to
the users.
Why do you need a sandwiched-DMZ deployment? It's clear that this
wasn't the case previously...

Thanks Jim. But when I publish the gatekeeper service (I don't know if
I can) at the front end to back end server with the gatekeeper, front
end FW will be just another firewall between the caller and the GK. So
in a sense GK is "on the edge" right?
Anyway, can you suggest other solutions besides IM and Office Live
server? We have a lot of customers using netmeeting. It will be
impossible to phase out NM over night.

You can't.
First, The Gatekeeper needs to operate "on the edge".
Second, there's no known solution for a "chained" GK deployment,
since
the calls are point-to-point...

Since Microsoft removed the gatekeeper service from ISA 2004, I
am
trying to come up with the solution that's economic (read free).
We
heavly rely on netmeeting to contact our clients. So, I decided
to
implement the back-to-back ISA. Front-end firewall be the newly
purchased ISA 2004. The back end would be the old ISA 2000 with
gatekeeper service on it. How can I server publish the back end
gatekeeper from the fron-end ISA 2004. Thanks.
