Proxy client + NT 4.0

Is there any problem using proxy client (instead of Firewall client)?
We are using Proxy client in NT 4.0 and W2K machines. We noticed that
users with NT 4.0 are having problems accessing the Internet. No problem
with W2K though.
Any idea?
