It came with about a 60cm lead, but it uses standard USB connections so
you can just go out and buy a standard cable of what ever length you
need.

I'm just using the 60cm one that come with it, as I always carry a 5m
cat5e cable in  my travel bag.

That's the one... It gets power from the USB port, right?  No other
power?
How long is the USB cable that comes with it?  That guy seems like the
way to go- no "extra" cables, no other power supply, etc.
