So, it seems like the only place I could find the NetComm VPN100 is Down
Under.  But here's a LinkSys version that does the same thing- and it is
only $70 USD.

At that price, I think I'm going to follow your lead and get one for all of
my traveling users.  Most of my people have EVDO air-cards, but there are
only a few locations in the US where you get EVDO broadband speeds at this
point in the game, and they still utilize hotel connections. It makes a lot
of sense to use something like this all the time, regardless of local-net
issues.
