I'm done with training. With employee turnaround as high as it is around here
we just give them a usage policy and then take the proactive approach in
disallowing it anyway. No method is perfect because something can always fall
thru the cracks. There's nothing we can do when an end user forgets everything
you've taught them. It happens all the time. Un-freakin-fortunately it's our
job to stop it, unless you like working long hours because someone can't
remember to not do something that's prohibited within the usage policy that they
never read anyway. This isn't just about users and clients, it's also about the
owners, partners, etc...

I had a banking exec. Send the AnnaK virus to another Partner in our accounting
firm. What a dork! He told her it was and "accident" - yeah, right it was
(not). Oh the war stories we can all tell. TGIF.

GPO's, non administrative users, non local administrative users, TEACH YOUR
USERS, written policy stating that they shouldn't do it and what happens when
they do, training, training, training!

Prevent your employees from installing spyware by securing their
workstations.

Our corporate PC's are being hit hard by spyware. What can I do using
ISA to prevent this?

Can I block user downloads such as .exe's with ISA 2000? My users are
getting killed with Spyware.
