Hi Greg, The check is in the mail. :-) The RPC issue is a really good one. The MS bashers have no idea about the special app layer security the RPC filter provides and they just generalize their limited knowledge to ISA. They figure if the dreaded pix can't protect them, nothing can. Thanks! It works for me Most of the guys i know who really get inot the bashing MS and try ISA and bash it or even "not try it at all" are the guys who will scoff at using the full features of ISA, ie: toms favourite exchange RPC publishing etc because it is inherently insecure on the platform they are currently using, so they have read. So therefore it must be insecure on any platform. It is a case of if it suits your purpose use it, but i think whatever your purpose, small or large, you can use ISA very effieciently. Never had a security issue with ISA. Read something about VPN and smoothwall, maybe on tihs list, anyway, been there *UGLY*. Seems stupid to build an RRAS box then dump a P.O.S (piece of sh1T) smoothwall box in front of it. Plus Tom and Jim are the best *blink* *cheques made out to Me thanks* Greg _____ Get Thawte's New Step-by-Step SSL Guide for MSIIS Find out how to test, purchase, and install a Thawte Digital Certificate on your MSIIS web server: http://www.isaserver.org/thawte/ ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
