Hi David,

Yes, it works with the Win2k and Win2003 RRAS, but it won't work when
ISA is installed.

HTH,
Tom

I've previously been successful with RRAS to other devices for
IPSec tunneling.

The devices I've been able to use include Cisco VPN concentrator
(the old Altiga stuff, I think it's the 3000 series), NetScreen,
Watchguard, and I can't remember what the 3rd one was. The hardest part
was making sure that you were mapping the appropriate terminology for
some vendors.

I know earlier on with W2K that MSFT did a lot of IPSec
bake-offs with vendors for interoperability.

ISA is the factor that I've had trouble with doing the NetScreen
(the only one where ISA was involved). I had a lot of difficulty with
trying to get IP Routing to work properly. I was able to establish the
tunnel and have the ISA server talk to the remote network, but had
trouble routing back to the local network.

I know that ISA uses RRAS for establishing tunnels
between ISA boxes but has anyone ever been able to build a IPSEC tunnel
between RRAS and

another vendors software platform, such as Raptor which
is now owned by Symantec? Raptor supports IPSEC tunneling and I know
RRAS supports

Private Key Sharing, it is the authentication I can't
seem to get passed, Microsoft says it supports open IPSEC tunneling
between RRAS and others, but I have yet to get anything but RRAS to RRAS
connections.

                Thank U for any feedback

                 G.
