Hi it must be something in IE6 sp1 without any of following updates. As
WinXP Pro installs with IE6 sp1, I have tested this virgin install and
it still freezes when connecting to an ssl server. Only when it goes
thru ISA sp1, if I unplug and bypass firewall/caching server(ISA) it
works 100%.
Any ideas?
Peter

Exactly the same behaviour here :(
I think it might be the ISA FP1 or one of the IE6 SP1 patches...

Hi, does anyone have an experience with all previous IE versions working
but not IE6 SP1? I have a WAN and various users access an outside SSL
site all access was working completely but now the updated browsers (IE6
SP1) freeze part way thru the transactions to the one main site. I have
tried various combinations of caching and am now looking at the frames
captured in NetMon. What is so different in the latest service pack? I
have been told it is my IE6 SP1 plus ISA problem, and that I should call
Microsoft. Not yet...I am sure I can lick this one, any suggestions from
the gurus.
TIA
Peter Forster
