Sorry for the delay on this topic. There is a great article at http://www.techrepublic.com called TWEAK Win2k Server registry to improve TCP/IP Performance. Use the search command to find it. If you have any trouble, reply to this post and I'll send you the exact URL. It is also useful for slow/low speed connections. As an example: ping -f -l <MTUSIZE> <gateway> will tell you if you have the optimum MTU size. Add or decrease the size by 10 until it tells you you're fragmenting the packets. I started with 1576 and finally hit upon 1472 as optimum. I used it and worked very well. Elliott
