I guess you're right, except that my generic Internet rule has a bunch of other protocols allowed, too. In any case, I didn't do it this morning (I had to do all my MS security patching this morning). Probably tomorrow. Just curious, will it really shut down everyone's acces to the web? I was under the impression that existing connections will remain valid, therefore if you disable the rule *and* create a similar rule simultaneously, web access should not be affected? Thanks, Edgardo (BTW, I can get into staples.com =) ) On 12/13/05, Rob Moore <RMoore@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.ISAserver.org > > I'll have to do that tomorrow--it'll shut down everyone's access to > the web. > > Rob ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: rmoore@xxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
