Hello,

Yes I can do that, but I saw this software demo before
of a content filtering solution, it sits between ISA and the border
router (or inside ISA I think). The solution filters out packets passing
through it, if it detects the packet as coming from an application that
is denied (e.g. Kazaa), it drops it, regardless what port its running
on, or even if its on HTTP, it has a pattern database (much like
antivirus). I think this is a functionality that is not yet on the ISA
server, but is very... very.. useful, specially nowadays applications
can run on any port (or runs inside HTTP). I forgot the name of the
product, but does anyone now of any ISA addon product that could do
this?

regards,
grefenp

Yes; if the clients have the Firewall Client installed, you can
disallow applications by name.
This is controlled in the "Client Configuration", "Firewall
Client", "Application Settings" part of the Admin MMC.
