What are you refering to as "lettering" or "label"?
Let me get it clear to you all. By default, in M$ windows, every
partition is assigned a drive letter like C:, D:. When we create a
vfat partition under GNU/Linux, it will not be visible in windows
under a drive letter. Thats what i refered with lettering. You need to
assign a letter for that partition using MMC.
