Hello guyz,
The session started around 10:25. Mr. Antano Solar John started with LAMP
archeitecture, Basic coding structure, with Programming Logic and technique.
We had a break at around 11:30. In the tea break Solar was shining :) in
PHP filled the corridor.He took the audience till login page and induced
them to do a tiny project. He covered basic commands in mysql, and the php
code to interact with the mysql. I was on and off the session. Good work
John.
The gemini pair of ILUGc Srini and Balavignesh arrived in between the
"PHP" session.
Srini explained the job possiblities in the lamp arena. While Bala took the
show explaining the SERVER-CLIENT conversation with lay man examples.
Impressive stuff Bala.
Srini and bala was interacting with the students at the fag end of LAMP
session. we had lunch around 1:30 and we gathered for Hands on session on
php by 2:00pm. Srini and Bala continued with the hands on session installing
xampp in 5 machines and started with PHP coding. By now students finished
the "Hello world".while srini made a demo on making a form with few
variables.
Mr.R.Subramanium joined the party around 3:00pm.R.S added feather to the
hat.
He started the talk with the need of "Tech Knowledge", "Inter personal
interaction","G.k" ,"Common sense" and "personality". He addressed the need
of presenting a content rich biodata with some correction to a sample
resume got from one of the aspirant.
In between Luggies, Raja Talks on web technologies by tommorrow 10:00 am to
1:00 pm. All of the luggies are invited. We are going to have the php
hands-on on 3rd sept by 2:00 pm to 5:00pm .The resumes which are fetched
from the session attendes , can it be kept in our site www.chennailug.org
for any job prospects?.
This day is an excellent day with satisfaction to cheer about.
