It must be possible to install Fedora without internet connection. I
had
done this before (Fedora 10, 11, 12). I did not try with new
versions but
there is no need for internet connection during installation.
Upto Fedora 15 we can install without internet, but at 16 i was
stuck.
So i gone through the live option.
But got a fix later, it worked for me.
add the *repo=/dev/sdX/<path-to-repo>* on the kernel boot line

I am very surprised to see this goof up by fedora - I know quite a few
people working for Redhat in India, and most of them are sensible people
from small town/rural background. They seem to have forgotten their
roots and think that India is like foreign ;-) Anyway fedora has no
future in the villages and small towns and in the poorer schools unless
they wake up and rectify this.
