There was this really stupid protocol change (magic filtering) in
messenger that resulted in filtering out all clients other than the
official messenger client from Yahoo!. However gaim folks figured it
out and gave a new release (0.79) that worked with Yahoo! Messenger
(all in less than 2 days!).
