can you able to mount? if so go to your fstab and change the mount to
auto, that will work if you want to mount automatic. >( mount /dev/sda
/media/<name>)
how & where should i mount it?
ls -d /dev/sd* gives
/dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sda4
sda1 -> ntfs
sda2 -> linux-swap
sda3 -> /boot
sda4 -> /
what is that error you get.. can you able to ping your router? kindly
provide >some details as what went wrong. or the error you get
i can't ping my gateway(modem) or my dns server...

I have 4+2 (front) usb ports. The front ones (2) are not connected
properly.
In the same port, windows detected my usb drive.
Thanks,
