Any notable security/stability/reliability issues with Mandrake 10.0 ?
I am thinking about using it for our intranet server (since that is the
latest disto I have apart from RH9.0 and MDK9.1).
The server will basically run sshd, apache, ftpd, NIS, NFS(all /home NFS
mounted from the server), squid, pppd, and may be samba for our college
lab with 40 PCs. Also, it will be routing between 2 of our labs and the
Internet (will have some IPTables scripts to filter).
Will MDK10.0 ok for this ? Any other suggestiongs ?
Another question:
Did anyone notice any problem with reiserfs in MDK9.1 ? In 2 of our
machines, the file system got messed up (some files missing, some with
unrelated content, etc.) after few power-cuts.
