Two responses:

1.  Keep your OT volume low:
Unlike this recent animosity, in the past, this list has
been fairly tolerant towards OT discussions. Only when the
OT volume has gone too high has it been discouraged.

On the other hand, for the BSD etc. discussions, there are specialized
lists available out there. www.bsd-india.org offers a bsd-india list,
for example. This list ought to be about Linux, irrespective of Free
or non-Free Software.

The moment you allow one type of OT discussions, you are past the
point of no return; the only way forward is to destruction.
