pre-loaded Linux OS with advertising - thats interesting

The information that Linux exists is not exactly classified, nor is  
it controlled by a company - so if there is a real need for an  
alternative desktop OS, the word should get out, right? Perhaps  
it's just that regular people just can't be bothered? Or perhaps  
Apple keeps most of the not-geek-but-need-a-different-os crowd happy?

i am yet to see an advertisement, billboard, hoarding for linux
