Interesting that you consider Open Source as a business model, whereas
in reality it is a software development model.
FYI, software development model says how software development should
happen. whereas open source business model is how to make money using
open source. so there's a lot of difference between business model and
development model.
1. First of all, business models are not all about making money.
Revenue streams are only a part of any business model; not all of it -
in fact, I'd say the value proposition of a business model is what
makes it click.
2. Open source business model should ideally be a business model which
is open to everyone to change, copy, adopt and distribute :)
