Greets!
Yesterday, I installed debian sid from the ftp.iitm.ac.in mirror. I stay in
the hostel and can get 10MB/s access to it.
There were a few problems though... some packages have missing files eg: xfig,
transfig, hdparm, libgc.. The complete hdparm directory is missing.
And... does "base-config new" (run at first boot) allow me to change the proxy
setting if I make a mistake entering it the first time? That is, I put in a
wrong proxy which works but is slow... and later it never let me change it.
Was pretty frustrating... ended up installing stuff manually using apt-get.
