HI

apache
and mysql, get loaded during the boot time.is there any way to stop
both these
programs from starting in the boot time.
yep. use chkconfig.
But isn't chkconfig specific to RedHat (originally from Iris)?
I believe update-rc.d(8) works better with Debian than chkconfig.
