Netlist looks like this

$PACKAGES
footprint_symbol_name ! device_type ; REF1 REF2
$NETS
NET1 ; REF1.1 REF2.1
$END

For each device type you'll need a file called devicetype.txt . If you have the
footprint symbols created, you can dump the device file from the footprint and
just rename it.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] 3rd Party Netlist

Hey guys,

As usual, the Cadence Help is only so helpful!

I want to create a 3rd party netlist file (i.e. not schematic driven), and the
Help mentions the "Transferring Logic Design Data user guide in your
documentation set" (in yellow below).

Does anyone know where this "documentation set" is located, or have an example
format for a netlist file?

Thanks for any help
