congrads I agree there are more important issues like the humming in the
dock and the fact that the stuff draws even when it's off and then it's
hard to turn it back on even after charging; I usually need to take out the
battery and put it back in; thats a more important issue. Also, if we want
to talk about unnessessary stuff, we can talk about more programs if we
really want to waist our time like more stream support for .axx files and
such without adding plug ins and playing with the root directory and all
those commands that arn't supported by level star. That stuff though, is
not important the important issues are like the ones I talked about at the
start of this message. The machine is the best one we've seen in a long
time, why are we complaining?

A reality check is quite necessary here. There are people who post to this
list with unrealistic and impractical suggestions, and frankly, if they are
serious they are simply proving how limited their technical knowledge is.
There were, for example, a few individuals who posted to the Victor Reader
Stream mailing list wanting a device whose main purpose is to play audio
content to support Braille displays. We have a viable synthesizer that is
responsive and understandable. Let's concentrate on improving the unit
itself
