Is this APH's docking station, or Levelstar's?
Thanks

Pamela,

Has a release date for the Braille Plus docking station been announced yet?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike:

There will be Docking Stations for both Icons and Braille Pluses. They will
not be interchangeable because of the way they will fit, so you'll have to
order appropriately.

Hi.

Will Braille Plus users also be able to attach their units to the Qwerty
Docking Station or will we need to wait for APH to introduce a docking
station of their own?

Just the
Qwerty docking station will be coming out in the near future.

So are both the Braille and QWERTY stations for the Icon projected for CSUN,

The Braille mottle will only be available for the Icon, because the
Braille
Plus already has the Braille keyboard. The qwerty model is the only one
that is going to be available for the Braille Plus.

Hi, guys.
I assume we are talking here about the qwerty or braille docking
station.
But when Jenny mentioned braille docking station, I wondered exactly
what
she was talking about.
When she said braille docking station, I thought how neat it would be if
she
was referring to a docking station with a 20 cell braille display.
I actually held a qwerty docking station in my hand at the summer ACB
show.
I assume it was a prototype, but I am surprised that they aren't out
yet.
It's been eight months.
I am looking forward to the qwerty version.
What I think is odd is that they mention them in the tutorials as if
they
were already out.

Frankly, I'll believe it when I have one in my hand. I was first told
by
Levelstar July, 2007 then September, 2007 then November 2007. I realize

that development is not a simple task, but Levelstar should simply stop
giving dates and announce the existence of the docking station when it
is in

fact a reality.

Braille + docking stations will be a couple of months behind Icon's, so
they will not come out around CSUN. Someone from APH might be able to
give
you more specifics as to when you will see them.

No guarantees but they're both planned for CSUN time. The dates are
March
10 through 16.

Any more info as to how long before this release will be available?

Also, is there any update on the docking station?
Love my BraillePlus!!

Kris
