This has nothing to do with these particular speakers, but I have a $20.99
pair from Radio Shack that has extremely good sound! I am not sure what
model they are, but I will send an e-mail about that later. These speakers
are not very big when they are folded up, and are very light weight!

Richard, here is the link. Keep in mind however that the cheaper model does
not have the folding mini plug. Because of the way I use the speaker, this
makes no difference to me but you will have to decide whether or not the
folding plug is worth another $15 or not. Regarding that 2 hour figure you
had, what rings a bell with me is that it takes 2 hours to fully charge from
the usb port but I don't recall seeing anything that stated that the charge
only lasted for 2 hours which in fact, is incorrect. It lasts much longer
than that and charges very quickly on any usb port as long as it is a
powered one.
