You could merge the files together and then just have one file for each disc.
It might solve some of the problem.

In theory, that is correct. However, the way the Braille Plus currently
deals with this situation it makes it extremely difficult.
For example, I have a folder called disk01.
In the folder there are files with names like, track 01.mp3, track 02.mp3,
etc.
I have another folder, disk02.
The track names are the same, but since they are in a different folder, that
is fine.
When you get the list of "songs" you see track 01, track 01, track 02, track
02 with no reference to what folder they are in.
Given that the book has 11 disks, so 11 folders, this makes it too tedious
to try and set up play lists.

You, of course, can figure that the first track 01 is in the first folder
and so on, but who wants to keep track that way.

If I could build the playlist on the computer and then move everything over
that would be one solution.

For now, the Book Port handles this stuff fabulously, so I will stick to
using it for mp3 books.

Later,
Richard

could you not just create a playlist of all the files?
