Here is an EMD example we can review tomorrow. I started with an existing
Micron DDR4 TwinDie IBIS EBD model, and modified it to use EMD syntax. This
models uncoupled signal nets using IBIS-ISS subcircuits. The datasheet for the
product is also attached. The diagram on page 5 is useful for explaining the
signal connections to the two die.
I should note that there are many more pins in the [Designator Pin List]
section than are used in the EMD Models. I don't think this is an issue. I
found it easier to take the entire [Component] [Pin] section from the .ibs file
as a starting point for creating [Designator Pin List] and did not remove
non-referenced pins.
I am thinking about creating another example using a fully-coupled SPICE model
of the entire package, in order to check the syntax including bus_labels and
terminal descriptions for power/ground rails.
