Please find enclosed the November 27 checklist for IBIS 7.0 editorial
activities. The November 27 draft IBIS 7.0 document itself has been posted to
http://ibis.org/editorial_wip/ver7_0_181127.docx. Both of these reflect edits ;
through this morning.
Numerous comments from Bob Ross and Mike LaBonte have been addressed here, as
well as the suggested changes from the Usage Dep example discussion on the
reflector. Some more significant changes include revisions to the "template"
language in Section 2, line spacing fixes, removal of double-spaces within
sentences, insertion of page breaks before new chapters at the first and second
levels, fixes to usage of "thus" and "however" throughout the document, and a
minor re-ordering of the C_comp_* definition language as resolved in our last
meeting.
In addition, a comprehensive list of changes yet to be discussed from Mike's
in-document comments will be distributed separately for discussion and
resolution in our next meeting.
Comments on the draft are, as always, welcome and encouraged. We will meet
again this Wednesday US time (Nov. 28, 8 AM US Pacific Standard Time).
