Hi Ron.
I tried to find what I could. It is about 13 MB.
There is a folder with bandit vocals. It is human, but if you got a sound
editor you might have a Doppler effect or pitch control to make it sound deeper.
Two folders of orc/ogre sounds pain, death, and various groans, grunts and some
laughter that might suit.
There is a folder with crowd reactions, the pitch lowered so they sound ork.
They cheer, gasp, grunt, etc. It might be useful.
Then I went a little crazy with some sound manipulation .
The folder is struggle generic.
I know you just wanted a gurl seeming struggling with a body on top, an I think
the one I found might work.
However, I made a bunch of others featureing riku, somes with a body fall, a
death sound from an orc, as well as for a generic female voice. You don’t have
to use them, of course, but I included them because you might like them or
give you ideas. Plus it is fun to do, grin.
One last folder from a game has an orc talking. It is separated into various
moods and situations. Hopefully that will help you out.

Hi I have another request for a sound file
I had thought about what you said about the fight with Rikku and Ivy versus the
orc bandits
The sound files I am looking for our
A young girl that is trapped under a large dead orc and struggling to get out
from underneath it
That's one
The other sound I'm looking for is
What would work for orc bandits pacifically on the lines of
Some could be where they are amused at the situation
Some would be where they would be quiet yet say a few words to indicate that
they can't wait for you to be dead so they can take your stuff off your dead
corpse
What are some would be apologetic but yet can't wait to take your stuff
Also would be nice if they have their pain and death sounds as well if possible

Ok, well good luck on the skill thing.
The Desert between the large population center of Pomjhari to the southern
border of Ghent has a number of caravan routes. There is one major one, which
has tent towns dotted up and down it along with oasis's.
This road is also taxed and tolled, so there is many dozens of "smuggler"
routes, secret ways known by Merchant houses and some thieves guilds. These
are not greatly protected, and oasis's are a little harder to come by. There
is always danger from Nomadi desert Kinn who ride on large coyotes, and the
usual assortment of brigands, bandits, thugs, evil races etc.
The towns that do exist are always at an oasis and they take control over
the water, charging for it to strangers. The towns are always Tent Towns.
Nothing permanent stays in one place too long, except the various Aztec
looking ruins which never get buried in sand storms, but are supposedly
haunted.
Even the oasis's will sometuimes "move" from place to place, causeing entire
tent towns to pack up and follow a water diviner to were it might have gone.
Skirmishs are happening all the time between the tent towns for resources and
for the wealth of merchants. The Tent town that can guarantee full safety is
a rich tent town.
The names of these tent towns is middle eastern in nature.
The major city on the edge of the desert and which is also a sea port is
called Kazeer.
The tent towns would be names like Jaffa, Bashon,Rasheed, Caliman etc and so
forth. A google search could give you a bunch I am sure.
The Desert Kinn are interesting. They do not take to slavery or imprisonment,
they die quickly if this happens, which makes them lousy slaves.
They have a connection with the coyotes, and are able to sense them, sense
thru them, as well as ride them. All desert Kinn eyes are yellow, without
exception.
The Kinn hate slavers, and will not tolerate one to live.
They have an uncanny way of finding food and water in the desert which no
one has ever been able to find out how.
Lastly, they are able to make a potent liquor out of a certain type of
cactuss which they use to trade for goods not easily come by, in partticular
metal tools and weapons, herbs and roots not native to the desert, sometimes
potions of healing .
While they do not accept strangers into their nomadic tent villages, they
will assist strangers in dire need if their scouts discover such out in the
desert and dieing.
Just thought the halflings would be interesting info, since they are
something well known but equally mysterious.

At the moment the secret points might work better for making sense for when
it involves quest shield
For a attacker to Bring down a quest shield they would need to use quest
power abilities or one of the many quest creatures like a quest demon for one
Just setting them up to attack the quest shield Will work for now unless I
find another way
Oh before I forget I was wondering about what city they could run into in the
desert but since you mentioned one that actually filled in the blank for the
part of the story I was going for
Which gave us both an idea for when they first arrive at that city
Not to mention things will happen on the way to the city the only thing is is
there on a off beaten path through the desert or in other words a road less
traveled . Ron

I don't know...maybe give the attacker units secondary skills tu use while
quest shield was up? Or lower the protection of the health protected, or
give
them a chance with a skill to try to knock the shield away via remoe
effect?
That last might be interesting if it works. Give a shield breaker spell
that
has a low chance of success will still keep them doing something,
hopefully.

Well, the attacking skill would need to damage that secret point in
addition
to whatever else it might do. It is a good idea to test the AI flags for
the
skill, cause on rare times they work a little screwy with mixed
damage/curse
etc.
As for the units, the units could be all easily modified to hold the
secret
point thru inherits= or the default unit file, if this is something that
effect the entire pack.

As soon as I get a chance I will check them out
As for what you suggested does that mean I have to edit the units to be
able
to attack that secret point anyway or is there something I'm missing . Ron

Subject: [ian-reeds-games] Request and some help with ideas
Hi
I have some requests as well as some ideas for tactical battle
I am wondering is there a way to set up two separate user guides to
appear
in
the map/level select screen
Where one user guide is the first one and the second one would appear
right
underneath it before the first map level
Is this available and tactical Battle now or is there a possibility for
it
to
be in a update later
That's my idea for tactical Battle
As for my request are for sound files
Cursors pain death attack sounds for both a kitten as well as a adult cat
with some being distinctively to one or the other and if possible A sound
or
two of a cat like a familiar casting magical energy of some kind
I am also wondering how I can set up a protection effect that still
protects
the unit but the enemy still tries to attack
How would I set that up or is that not available at this time
That's all my request and ideas at this time thanks in a Vance . Ron
