I use Knoppix as my hardware test demo. I go to a store, and they don't know if Linux will run on a certain processor, mainboard, sound and video card combo, and get to the internet, I just stick in the CDrom, and boot! It finds everything in about 30 seconds, and comes up, even with the Internet working! Any conflicts are tagged! Then, if it is OK, I can go to http://pricewatch.com and get all those pieces to build it at the right price! Made in Deutchland, home of Suse!
