Check with Comcast to get set up on a community discount plan. Xfinity
Communities, I think is the name of the program. They will pay the community to
host events: i.e. pool parties/bbqs. They will offer free services to the
clubhouse. And the residents can also get discounted services or free upgrades
if the HOA signs up for this program. It’s not advertised, you will have to
contact the Xfinity Communities Department to get a representative assigned to
our Subdivision.

One of our projects this year is to make some improvements to the clubhouse.
This facility is approaching 20 years old, and it's time to give it some much
needed attention. The Board has come up with some ideas, but we want
neighborhood input as well. Items fall into two categories-- maintenance and

walls, replace the clubroom furniture, and replace the roof, gutters, and
downspouts. The pool gate should be repaired. The pool cover should be
replaced, and the fence should be repaired and painted. We should also
inventory existing pool furniture and replace it if necessary.
Improvement Items (our ideas)
Automated Sensor Light Switches - Add to fitness room and kitchen - lowers
electric bill
Light bulbs - Replace with LED bulbs - lowers electric bill
WiFi - Add WiFi to the clubhouse and pool area - expected amenity (modern WiFi
wasn't around 20 years ago)
TV - Mount a larger TV to the wall of the clubroom. This improves rentability
of the room and allows for easier presentations
Key Pad - Add a key pad to the clubroom door, so that renters can be given the
code instead of having to coordinate a key exchange
Card Reader - Add a card reader to the southern pool gate, so that the pool is
more accessible
If you have any suggestions for maintenance items or improvements, please share
your ideas. The Board will be finalizing the project scope within a week.
