To all my friends at Harris Hill,

I have been meaning to send out a note thanking everyone at Harris Hill
for their friendship and guidance over the last 3 1/2 years. As most of
you know I was on loan to Schweizer from the Sikorsky mother ship in
West Palm Beach, Florida for the X2 project. I joined the Hill my first
summer up there and flew as much as my commuting lifestyle would permit.
My time in Elmira came to an end at the beginning of July when the X2
moved to our Development Flight Test Center in West Palm Beach for the
high speed envelope expansion. I am busily attempting to readjust to
the 6 months of summer heat and living full time with my wife. I do
miss the cooler weather and the time I spent on the hill. You are a
great group of folks. I would like to send out a special thanks to
Bryan Cotton, Dave Welles and Rolf for helping me real get into the
soaring.

I apologize for any confusion about my duty times. I thought I had
verbally conveyed the fact that I was going back to Florida for good.
As I am now back in Florida full time I would like to change my member
status from senior active to associate. I hope to still get up there
for occasional visits and retirement is not all that far away.

Thanks for all your support.

Dave Walsh
