line 70 of the man page:

Minting stamps
=====================

i tried most of the examples in the man page that specify a resource on the command line while minting a stamp... all of them requested manual entry of a resource unless "-r" is EXPLICITLY specified.

also, when trying to type in a resource when prompted, there doesn't seem to be a way of saying "i'm done"... ^C ^D, etc just cause it to exit, without minting any stamps.
