[haiku] Re: mkdir /usr ?

OK, that's kind of interesting but I'm a little confused by this. Is this a 
Haiku/Beos design feature? What is the rationale behind this?


Scott, I'm working on postgres. I don't think it's being worked on.

Yeah -- you cannot create regular files in '/', only directories and
possibly symlinks. See http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/2442

Also for porting software, you should try and update the code to not use /usr
