There are always lots of people to tell others what to do.
Patches welcome (to Haiku, but I would guess Barrett will accept
contributors to V\OS too)!
Barrett has made a pragmatic choice with Linux. It may not be pretty,
but it works, and has the best hardware support. Maybe not very
exciting, but sometimes one just needs to take a fundation that works,
and build upon it.
He will not spend evenings debugging XHCI and USB mass storage drivers,
as is my case this week (I just wanted to compile a web browser at
first! why did I end up there?)
