[haiku] Re: Laptop compatibility (Leonovo X201)

i just thinking about to buy a laptop for full-time Haiku use. Have
somebody experience with Lenovo X201? Is audio output working
(speakers and jack)?
I haven't tried X201, but in general, Thinkpads are very compatible with
Haiku. You can try
installing Haiku USB flash drive, and boot from that. It works pretty well.
We have a spare X201, which I just booted with Haiku on USB. The
ethernet and wireless were recognised, but I couldn't get any sound
out of it. I'll take it home this weekend and install Haiku and see
how well it works.
