i just thinking about to buy a laptop for full-time Haiku use. Have
somebody experience with Lenovo X201? Is audio output working
(speakers and jack)?
I have an another for everyday use, but it would be nice to have a
separate one just for Haiku, i don't like to compile big things in
virtual machine.

I haven't tried X201, but in general, Thinkpads are very compatible with Haiku. 
You can try 
installing Haiku USB flash drive, and boot from that. It works pretty well.
